2023: Katsina SSG resigns as Guber race hots up

Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, has tendered his resignation letter to Governor Aminu Bello to join the race for the State number one seat.

In a letter dated 15 April 2022 and addressed to the governor, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa said the decision followed his desire to contest in the forthcoming gubernatorial election under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Inuwa expressed his profound gratitude for the privilege given to him by the Governor since 2015 to date.

The SSG said the Governor had given him the opportunity to offer his modest contributions in serving the Government and people of Katsina State in that capacity.

The outgoing SGS prayed to Almighty Allah to further strengthen the Governor Masari led Administration in the last lap of its final tenure.

He also thanked the entire people of the State for their continued support and cooperation being extended to him as well as the APC government in the State.

Responding to the SGS’s Letter of Resignation, the Governor Aminu Bello Masari said that he has accepted the resignation with effect from 15 April 2022.

The Governor, on behalf of the Government and people of the State, expressed appreciation for the services which Mustapha Inuwa rendered as Secretary to the Government of the State from 2015 to date.
