2023: Give me your support if you want to win Rivers guber, Abe tells APC

All Progressives’ Congress APC, Rivers governorship aspirant and immediate past Senator representing Rivers South East, in the National Assembly NASS, Magnus Ngei Abe has said he is the best man to ensure that APC wins the Rivers state governorship election in 2023.

He made the disclosure yesterday in Port Harcourt, at a political consultation with the people of Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Area LGAs, saying that the APC is in dire need of a winning candidate to better their future and the state at large.

Abe urged the people of Ijaw nation and Kalabari in particular, not to be deceived by the sentiment of Riverine-Upland dichotomy.

“You should not allow anybody to deceive you into believing that this is the turn of the Riverine, or the Ijaws or Kalabari. What matters, is the fact that your fellow Rivers man, who cannot discriminate against anybody is governor”

“We want to form the APC government in Rivers State that will serve you better, irrespective of party or tribe. If you people support me and give me your votes, I’ll give you victory at the governorship poll,” he vouched.

Abe disclosed that former first Lady Dame Patience Jonathan rose above ethnic sentiment to back Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in 2015 as the party’s guber standard bearer, because she saw a ‘winning candidate’ in him.
