Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has assured the people of the Rivers West Senatorial District of effective representation at the Senate come 2023.
Dr. Banigo stated this shortly after being declared winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rivers West Senatorial District Primaries at Ahoada East.
The Deputy Governor expressed gratitude to the delegates and the entire Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State and Rivers West Senatorial District for their support in her emergence as the flag bearer of the Party, in the upcoming elections, stressing that the exercise was transparent and hitch free.
“Accreditation was very smooth. I want to thank all the delegates of the Rivers West Senatorial District who came out in their large numbers to show you the acceptability of our great party the PDP, this shows that we are very much on ground. You can be sure that I will represent you very much effectively in Jesus name.” The Deputy Governor stressed.
Earlier the Returning Officer, Hon. Anthony Okeah had declared Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo the winner of the Rivers West Senatorial District Primaries who scored a total of 264 votes.
