PDP Primaries: Fintiri clinches Guber ticket

Governor Ahmadu Umar Fintiri has emerged the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa scoring 663 votes out of the 668 accredited votes.

Announcing the result, the chairman of the PDP Guber primaries committee, Barr. Gavin Katabs noted that five votes ect that he started withhave been invalidated.

In his acceptance speached, Governor  Fintiri, thanked the people of Adamawa for giving him their support, and assured them that he will continue with his developmental projects which he started with.

He said that his Administration has done a lot in the state, even better than the past administration of the APC.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri called on the PDP supporters to remain calm as the opposition has no strength to stand the PDP in the coming General Election in  2023. 

Commenting on the result of the Electon the PDP state Organizing secretary, Alh Hamza Madagali, said the primaries was fear and transperant.

He commended the delegates for their maturity during the voting exercise where the Governor emerged.
