CHAIRMAN of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Board of Trustees, BoT, Senator Walid Jibrin has congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his emergence as presidential candidate of the PDP in the just concluded national convention of the party.
Senator Jibrin, in a congratulatory letter addressed to the PDP Presidential candidate tasked him to ensure that only credible and acceptable candidate was selected to be his running mate so as to guarantee a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming generation election.
While assuring of his commitment to offer necessary support and assistance to ensure the victory of the party at all levels, the BoT chairman advised the teaming supporters of the party to team up as one family and build a strong and united party so as to enable it clinch power at all levels of government to serve Nigerians better and to restore her lost glory.
“We must remember the good performance of Atiku as Vice President during President Obasanjo. Our party must be fully congratulated for playing a good role and of course all our delegates across the 36 states and the FCT”.
He also congratulated Senator David Mark, chairman of the Electoral Committee and all of his members for organising one of the best Electoral National Convention after the Port Harcourt convention chaired by Governor Okowa of Delta state in 2019.
“My advice as the PDP BoT Chairman is that the conscious of the party must come together as one entity, fully together as one party talking with one voice to make our party greatest”.
