Niger APC: Abubakar Mogaji beats incumbent, Lado to click Reps ticket

Haruna Abubakar Magaji popularly known as ARAFAT has emerged victorious in the APC Primary Election and emerged the Standard flagbearer for the Suleja/Gurara/Tafa Federal Constituency.

The earlier scheduled Primary Election conducted on May 27 in Suleja was canceled due to violence in irregularities.

Under tight security, one hundred and twenty delegates from the Suleja/Gurara/Tafa Federal Constituency who were screened voted for their choice aspirants.

Immediately after the delegates concluded voting, sorting, and counting of ballot papers were done and the winner, was announced by the Secretary, Electoral Committee Isyaku Lawal.

Haruna Abubakar Magaji polled 116, the incumbent Member Abubakar Lado Abdullahi got 04 votes while Ado Abubakar and Attahiru Musa scored 00 votes respectively, the Electoral Committee Secretary announced.

Security agents, INEC officials, and APC Chairmen of Suleja, Gurara, and Tafa Local Government Areas monitored the election which was adjudged to be free, fair, and credible.

With the victory, Haruna Abubakar Magaji is the APC candidate and Standard bearer for the Suleja/Gurara/Tafa Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 Election.
