Engineer Babangida, a former Commissioner of Housing and Urban planning during the immediately past government of Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, was in the early hours of Tuesday kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
Our correspondent gathered that the kidnappers surrounded the home of the victim situated at Bajabure village in Girei local government area of Adamawa state where they shot him on his foot and equally killed one person and injuring several others before whisking away the victim.
A family member told our Correspondent that there is yet to be any contact from the abductors.
” what is now worrisome was also an attack recently during the last APC primaries where the victim escaped an attack by yet to be identified persons who ended up smashing the victims windscreen”, says the family member.
Confirming the story, Police Command spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje said they have gotten the report.
According to the PPRO, measures are being taken to recover the victim
