APC Governatorial aspirant, former Bauchi Deputy Governor dumps party

The Chairman Senate committee on Police Affairs and APC Gubernatorial aspirant Senator Halliru Dauda Jika that lost the just concluded primaries and former Bauchi Deputy Governor, Arc. Audu Sule Katagum have all dumped the party.

Senator Halliru Dauda Jika representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District in his resignation letter addressed to the chairman APC Kafin Mafarki Ward appreciate the party leadership for the opportunity given him to participate in the just concluded Governorship primary election.

Jika said after due consultation with political associates, his teaming youth and women, he decided to resign as a member of APC with immediate effect.

Similarly, the former Chief of Staff and Deputy Governor in Bauchi State, Arc Audu Sule Katagum who contested the Bauchi North Senatorial District has also dumped APC.

In his resignation letter addressed to the ward chairman of Nasarawa/Bakin kasuwa Azare, Sule Katagum said after consultation with his supporters and family members that they have come to conclusion that the principles for which he joined APC in 2014 are sadly no longer there.
