Kaduna based cleric, Pastor David Ayuba Azzaman, has promised to mobilize one million votes for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Pastor Azzaman, disclosed this in Kaduna during interaction with Journalists, said the move is to bring the long term misrule of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to an end.

While reinstating that the 2023 general election will not be a business as usual, Pastor Azzaman, stressed that, a new Nigeria is possible, if Nigerians can shun regional, religious and ethnic sentiment for national interest, noting that president Muhammadu Buhari will be a saint if Atiku or Tinubu is given the opportunity to govern the country for another 4-8 years.

He said: “I would tell Nigerians today, let us vote for Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed because they have what it takes to lead Nigeria to prosperity. Peter Obi and Datti, must get 1m votes in Kaduna, which we would mobilize for.

“I am equally happy that Obi’s running mate, Datti Ahmed is a Muslim from Zaria and a credible candidate. Let Christians stand up, let reasonable Muslims stand up and deliver Peter Obi in 2023 to set Nigeria on the path of prosperity.

“A new Nigeria is coming, when our Naira will be at par with the dollar and we will be leading exporters and the land will prosper,” he assured.

He also called on citizens yet to get their permanent voters cards (PVCs), to do so and ensure credible leaders that will promote their interests are elected both in Kaduna and the country at large.
