Following the selection of a Muslim running mate by the All Progressive Congress APC presidential flagbearer, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, diverse reactions have been recorded.
In reaction to this selection, Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has resigned his membership from the APC.
Okonkwo took to his Instagram page to announce his resignation and also shared a copy of the letter he addressed to the chairman, APC Nkpunano ward in Nsukka.
According to the actor, he resigned on the ground of lack of equity, justice, fairness and peaceful coexistence in the party. He also prayed that “God delivers Nigeria from the hands of power grabbers who elevate the quest for power above the quest for purpose.”
