Ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, has postponed the proposed presentation of Senator Kashim Shettima to party leadership as the running mate to the presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The event was earlier scheduled to hold Thursday at the national secretariat of APC by 1pm.
Journalists covering the ruling were already gathered to cover the event when the postponement was announced.
The assistant national secretary who announced the postponement did not State the reason for the shift neither was the new date announced.
But Nigerian Pilot correspondent gathered that the postponement might be connected with the reported demise of a relation of Senator Kashim Shettima the vice presidential candidate.
Tinubu had last Sunday announced the choice of Shettima as his running mate in what is now referred to as Muslim-Muslim joint ticket despite opposition to such arrangement.
