Labour party says Peter Obi support movement is for betterment of Nigeria

Delta State Labour Party has said that the Peter Obi support group is to liberate the country from all the predicaments that has befallen the nation, especially on insecurity.

The Labour Party stated this weekend in Asaba during her stakeholders meeting held with party leaders across the 25 local government areas of Delta state, in support for Peter Obi, Labour Party Presidential candidate.

Speaking at the event, the state Chairman of Labour Party, Chief Tony Ezeagwu expressed appreciation to all party faithful that have taken their time despite their tight schedule in ensuring that the party is gotten to where it is presently.

According to him, I want to assure you that by the Grace of God we have gotten to where we are going to, there are no doubt about that, if you look at what is happening today, you know that it is ordained by God.

” What we are doing today now is that everybody is contributing his/ her quota, trying to make sure we achieve what we want to achieve”, he said.

Speaking during an interview, the gubernatorial candidate for Delta state in 2023 general, Pastor Ken Pella, promised fairness, transparency, justice and a robust security network and employment creation if voted for in 2023 election.

Also, the Deputy Governor for Labour Party candidate, Professor Julie Nwabogo Umukoro, noted that Labour Party has come to change the narratives of thinking that only a country of people will come together and take the nation for a ride.

added that leadership is taking consciousness as a connecting thing, saying that connecting consciousness will be the bane of the governance.

Equally, Pastor Elvis Akiah, Delta state Coordinator of Peter Obi Support group, described the Labour Party presidential candidate as a man who has a high sense of integrity that should be entrusted with power.
