Presidential candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo has felicitated with Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of the New Islamic Year! -Muharram 1444 AH.
Adebayo in a statement issued on Saturday, wished the Muslim community a beautiful New Year.
He urged Muslims not to cease praying for Nigeria or waver in their belief that the purpose of Allah shall prevail for the country.
“I wish all Muslims, brothers and sisters, worldwide a most beautiful and very happy Islamic Year full of Mercy and Grace of Allah SWT for Nigeria in these troubling, humbling times and a world in need of truth, justice and peace” Adebayo emphasized.
The Islamic calendar follows a 30-year cycle, with 19 years of 354 days and 11 leap years of 355 days, which falls on a different day on the Gregorian calendar every year.
The presidential hopeful also used the opportunity to pray for Nigeria in these troubling, humbling times and a world in need of truth, justice and peace.
