Rivers Police mourns death of ex PPRO

Rivers State Police Command has expressed regrets over the death of her colleague, Superintendent of Police SP Nnamdi Omoni.

According to a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Superintendent of Police SP, Grace Iringe-Koko, and made available to newsmen, the Commissioner of Police Rivers State command Mr. Friday Eboka, management and the entire command poured the concern.

The statement noted that, the immediate past Police Public Relations Officer PPRO SP, Omoni’s death occurred on Tuesday 30th August, 2022, at Rivers state Teaching Hospital (RSTH).

The late SP, who was an eminent communicator, hailed from Ndele in Emohua L.G.A. of Rivers State, but was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 01/11/1989, and served in various capacities including Rivers state command PPRO for many years.

He was the Divisional Police Officer Officer DPO, Elimgbu before his death.

The Command used the medium to convey, what it described as ‘her heartfelt’ condolences to the Omoni’s family, friends, and all the good people of Rivers state.

The command also assured members of the public of further development, in due course, after consultations with the family members, even as condolence registers had been opened at the division and his family home.
