Diri’s Aide assures flood victims of assistance

As part of the measure to ameliorate the condition of the non indigenes in Bayelsa state affected by the ravaging floods situation in the State, the S.A to executive Governor of Bayelsa state on non-indigenes, Mazi Hon. Onuma Johnson and the Non-indigenes Flood Assessment and Management Team assures victms readiness to assist.

Onuma gave the assurance on Wednesday, during on-the-spot assessment visit to affected areas within the state.

Areas visited include Swali, Oxbow lake, Obogoro, Akaba, Ogu, Azikoro, Agbura, Agudama and Akenfa.

During the visit, the Felix assured both the indigenes and non-indigenes residing at the affected areas of government readiness to assist.

He maintains that the prosperity Government is concerned about the predicament encountered by the citizens at this critical moment of our existence.

He used the medium to call on all non-indigenes in the state to go and register at the designated camps approved in the state. The designated Internally displaced persons camp in the state are situated at Oxbow Lake Pavilion, Igbogene and Agudama community respectively.
