Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has admitted that it would be a dream to play in the English Premier League in the future.

Discussing his plans, Osimhen said: “I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world (Serie A) is an amazing feeling for me.

“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

The 24-year-old has bagged a rather impressive 19 goals in 21 appearances this term, playing a pivotal role in guiding them to a 15-point lead at the top of the Italian top flight.

Even if Napoli do clinch the title, Luciano Spalletti faces an uphill task to keep a hold of his star man with clubs in the Premier League circling.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the £100million-rated player – and Osimhen has suggested his future lies in England.

Man United’s interest in Osimhen could provide good news for another of the Premier League’s biggest names in Tottenham.

The Red Devils are long-time admirers of Spurs talisman Harry Kane, with United regularly linked with a blockbuster move for the England star.

However with the Napoli goal-machine now emerging as one of Erik ten Hag’s top targets, it could pave the way for Kane to stick around in north London where he’s already established himself as a club legend.
