Nurses, Midwives extol Katsina Gov-elect, Deputy

Ahead of Monday May 29 inauguration of Katsina State Governor-elect, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda (Gwagwaren Katsina) and hid Deputy, Faruk Lawal Jobe, the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Katsina State Council, has congratulated them on their victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election.

The State Chairman of the NANNM, Comrade Haruna Mamman, and his State Secretary, Comrade Idris Bello Idris, while congratulating Dr Umar Dikko Radda, wished his incoming government a successful tenure in office.

The Katsina State NANNM in a press release issued on Thursday, stated: “May Allah (SWT) bless them (Dr. Radda and Alhaji Jobe) with wisdom, strength and capacity to deliver and provide them with the right persons to assist them in fulfilling the promises made during the campaign period.

“Equally, we are hopeful that His Excellency will appoint the good hands amongst his political allies, especially with the recent selection of two key stakeholders from each local government area with the aim of assisting his government in fulfilling the promises made.

“Finally, we want to assure this government that nurses and midwives that occupy 65% of the total healthcare workforce are partners in progress and will do their best in ensuring that the general populace enjoy the dividends of democracy by doing their best in discharging their assigned responsibilities.”
