The Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Bayelsa State Council on Sunday joined other well meaning Bayelsans to felicitate with His Excellency the miracle Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri on the occasion of his 64 birthday celebration.
A statement by the Council Chairman, Comrade Samuel Numonengi and the Secretary, Comrade Ogio Ipigansi on behalf of the entire Journalists in the state noted that, at 64 His Excellency has impacted meaningfully on the lives of the people in the state and beyond.
“The union is please to see His Excellency accomplishing great things in life having shown the capacity to take Bayelsa to greater heights.
“We salute the cooperation and support you have always given to the union in the state.
‘Your Excellency, as you celebrate your birthday, our wish is that your reign as the governor of Bayelsa State brings to fruition your desire to make Bayelsa State a prosperous place.
“We pray the Almighty God to grant you wisdom, guidance, protection and more birthdays to fulfill your dreams.”
