As the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima marks his 57th birthday anniversary, a former senator representing Jigawa North West Senatorial District, Danladi Abdullahi Sankara, has called for the support of Nigerians for the Bola Tinubu administration.

Sankara, in a personally signed statement to felicitate with the Vice President on Saturday, said such support would further encourage the present administration to intensify its efforts on the bold move he had made so far and well envisioned policies being rolled out.

He said: “On the occasion of 57th birthday celebration of Vice President Kashim Shettima, I urged Nigerians to support him for the success of the Tinubu/Shettima administration,” he said.

According to him, Shettima has made impactful achievements in life, begining as a resourceful banker, through to becoming a Commissioner of Finance, Executive Governor for two terms, and capping it with becoming the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“This steady progression in life and destiny exemplify the person and pedigree of the vice president,” Sankara added.

He noted further that Shettima was a Senator when he was chosen as vice presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, which he, along with President Tinubu, won based on their track records of development – driven public service delivery.
