Non Indigenous All Progressives Congress, Apc communities covering the six Nigerian geopolitical zones in Bayelsa State have endorsed incumbent Governor Diri Douye for a second term. The communities are those of Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Middle belt,and South South,who described Governor Diri as an exceptional performer deserving of a second term.
Addressing their members at the Peace Park opposite the government house in Yenagoa, their leaders took turns to pour encomiums on fhe Governor for restoring peace in fhe hitherto troubled state and opening up the state through infrastructural transformation. The Chairman of the Apc non indigenous communities in Bayelsa State, Alhaji Sule Aliyu said its impossible for the Apc to win the election because of its multiple division along three factions and therefore the quick decision to harness themselves to support the performing Governor Diri because of what he is doing.
Appreciating the people.on behalf of the Governor, House of Representatives Member for Ekeremor federal Constituency, Rt Hon Fred Agbedi said this action will spur the performing Governor to do more,assuring them that more dividends will be manifest in the second term of the governor. He called on them to ensure their people come out in their numbers to vote on Saturday.
