A coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators under the Leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Phase 3 has expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku for his humanitarian activities throughout the Niger Delta region.

The National Chairman of the group, Elaye Slaboh said in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Inko Brightstar that Dr. Samuel Ogbuku released food items and other special packages during the yuletide to all the Nine States in the Niger Delta region and described this generosity as uncommon.

According to the group, Dr. Ogbuku’s generosity reflects the ideal character of a true leader. He is patriotic, unbiased leader, full of empathy and love, and expressed their deep appreciation to him while looking forward to more of these gestures, the group stated.

The group also thanked him for the provision of solar energy light system in the communities of Niger Delta, describing the street lights as a necessity in most communities of the Niger Delta to aid security and mitigate the operations of some hoodlums in some rural communities within the Niger Delta whose criminal activities are carried out in the thick dark moments of the night hours.

While pledging their supports and willingness to collaborate with his administration towards accomplishing the organization’s mandate, he urged him to continue the good works he is doing and not to relent as God’s reward will always accompany any good works and called on other politicians to emulate him.
