THE All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue State chapter, has urged Dr Matthias Terwase Byuan who was recently appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts of the Federal Housing and Urban Development, to see this appointment as a call to serve his fatherland.
The party in a statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary, Daniel Ihomun on Tuesday, also urged Dr Byuan to bring his wealth of experience in the private sector to bear on his new appointment.
“The party expresses confidence in Chief Byuan’s ability to improve the housing deficit in Nigeria and discharge the duties and functions of his office as expected of him without any iota of doubt since he has proven his worth in many other responsibilities he’s saddled with in the past,” Ihomun stated.
The party expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for his love for Benue State and the leader of APC in the state, Sen George Akume, Secretary to the government of the Federation, SGF, for facilitating the appointment and urged them to do more for other sons and daughters of the state.
