Access Bank Plc has partnered with Xploits Consulting Limited in the distribution of handwashing devices to some selected schools around the FCT and neighboring States.
Some of the locations that benefited from the gesture which was aimed at fighting COVID-19 where: Kogi State capital, Lokoja, Kotonkarfe Local Government Area and Karu and Keffi Local Government Areas in
Nasarawa State.
Addressing the representative of the schools, the principal partner Xploits Consulting ltd, Dr Tayo Taiwo, who was represented by Director  of Communication, Mrs Grace Taiwo said that in the absence of a vaccine to fight Coronavirus, preventing it’s spread from person to person
was vital to reduce the pandemic’s impact on people’s lives, health, livelihood and the healthcare system we all rely on.
Taiwo noted that frequent hand washing with soap and water was one of the best ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and the first line of defense against COVID-19 was the collaboration between Access Bank Plc and Xploits Consulting Ltd to make the hand washing  devices available to selected schools.
She listed Government science school, New Karu, Karu-East Governments secondary school, New Karu, Bakin-Ado Government Secondary school, Ado, Government secondary school, New Nyanya, Government Junior Secondary school, New Karu, GSS Kofar Hausa, GSS Yelwa, Federal Government College,FGC Keffi, Government College, GCK, Keffi, GSS Army Barracks Keffi, Nasarawa State, Local Government Sec Sch, Kabawa, Bishop Deslisle Sec Sch, Karaworo, Muslim Community Sec School, Lokogoma, UBE JSS Sarkin Noma, GGSS, behind Ploy Felele, Kotonkarfe,
1.GSSS, Kotonkarfe, Govt Day Sec  Sch Akpogu, Govt  Sec Sch, Okofi Koto, Jnr Sec Sch Okofi, and Alunka Rana Sec Sch in
 Kogi state as some of the schools that benefited from the COVID-19 prevention project.
The Principal of Govt Science Sec School, kotonkarfe Mr Abdullahi Adoga Ibrahim, who spoke on behalf of the recipients/ beneficiaries thanked Access Bank and Xploits Consulting Ltd for making it possible for the devices to make available to them and promised that it would be properly utilized.
In a related development the partnership has in a concerted efforts to provide succour and alleviate poverty levels, in the country organized a business innovation program for widows, vulnerable persons in the FCT to enable them to provide for their homes.


The project which was carried out in three area councils namely Kwali, Kuje, and Bwari Area Councils had a total number of 150 persons – Kwali- 60, Kuje- 43 and Bwari 47 who were drawn to benefit from the partnership.


Speaking during the workshop, the Director Communication, Xploits Consulting Limited Abuja, Mrs Grace Taiwo said that the aim of the workshop was to equip widows and vulnerable people especially in IDPs, single mothers and female orphans with business ideas development and application skills.


Taiwo said that the initiative aimed to reach at least one hundred and fifty women, 150, in the three area councils in the FCT.


She further thanked Access Bank Plc for considering Xploits Consulting Ltd as a partner in implementing their sustainability programs in Northern Nigeria.


One of the participants from Kwali Area Council, Patience Ibrahim on behalf of others expressed appreciation for the workshop and promised to implement them in her business.


Some of the areas covered include: principle of Enterprise Development, principle of financial management, business law and use of social media.
