The Commander Corps of Artillery (CCA) Major General Taritimiye Ayibakuro Gagariga has tasked officers and men of 35 Artillery Brigade to be more alert and security conscious in the discharge of their constitutional duties.
He also expressed satisfaction at the  quality of job done at the newly reconstructed entrance gate into Alamala Barracks,
and implored the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Adewale Adekoya to ensure continuous vigilance by troops in the barracks and also by security guards that will be manning the gate all the times.
Assistant Director Army Public Relations, 33 Artillery Brigade, Alamala  Abeokuta, Captain Haruna Tagwai in a statement said that General Gagariga gave this task while commissioning the newly reconstructed entrance gate into Alamala Barracks, during his maiden visit to 35 Artillery Brigade, Abeokuta as Commander Corps of Artillery.
He further commended Brig Gen Adekoya on the level of developmental works he has been doing since he assumed command of the brigade.
The CCA while, addressing troops on the parade ground, encouraged them to always be their neighbour’s keeper.
He also urged the troops to remain disciplined and dedicated to their duties, even as he assured them of the Chief of Army Staff’s resolve for troops welfare.
General Gagariga was conducted round other projects in the barracks where he commissioned renovated office complex of 351 Artillery Regiment done by the Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Kyari Imam Babakura.
Highlights of the visit was  tree planting by the CCA at 35 Artillery Brigade Headquarters and presentation of plaques by the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brig Gen  Adewale Adekoya, Garrison Commander Colonel DM Baba and Commanding officer 351 Lieutenant Colonel kyari Babakura.
