…Says victory is for all party members
All Progressives Congress APC Chairmanship candidate in forthcoming FCT Area Council Elections
, Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi has called for the cooperation of all members of the party that contested the primary, saying there was a need for unity ahead of the election.

of the party.
In particular, the judge on Monday in upholding the notices of preliminary objection filed by Hon. Sulaiman Alhassan Gwagwa, challenging the victory of Murtala Usman Karshi, the court held that from the facts presented by the plaintiff lacked merit to defends his claimed.
He however, ruled that the plaintiff lacked clean and clear evidence of the claimed victory in the APC previous primaries in the AMAC, that the suit filed was clearly outside the context for his claimed victory, thereby dismissed the suit without considering it on merit.
Karshi who expressed happiness that at last the electoral umpire has settled the dust raised following the party’ primary, said, “We will move fast to reconcile all factions of the party and aggrieved members.
“Even those who have in time past, joined our opponents, we will make sure they come back home; APC is home and big enough to accommodate everyone.

“There is no family without rancour, I believe we will come out stronger, better and energised to conquer. We will work with all existing paraphernalia, structures and everyone in the party to ensure that APC wins AMAC Area Council February 2022.
”thousands of the opposition members have all perfected plans to join us in APC, we shall receive them into the fold in no distant time,” he said.
He thanked the state FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello and his colleague Minister of state Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu and leadership of his party and all party faithful for their unwavering support while litigation over the primary lasted.
