Tottenham Hotspur of England midfielder, Bamidele ‘Dele’ Alli has received some comforting words from former Manchester United coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, who described the Nigerian-born lad as one of the best players he has ever seen.
However, megasportsarena.com reports that, while hailing Alli as a rare talent that won his heart as a teenager, ‘Fergie’ went on to admit he has been left stunned by the former Milton Keynes Dons’ dazzler’s recent slump into redundancy.
The 79-year-old legendary tactician made the assertion when he was asked if there is any current player he would have loved to sign had he still been in management. Sir Alex had been on the verge of mentioning Alli’s more renowned colleague at Tottenham, Harry Kane, but the veteran soccer buff suddenly turned his focus on the Nigerian-born lad instead. The renowned tactician, however, posited that he has been left baffled by the implosion that has suddenly hit Alli.
