Abuja chapter of the Disabled People’s Association has honoured the Chief Operating Officer, COO, Upstream NNPC Engr Adokiye Tombomieye with an award as the friend of the disabled people.
Speaking through their Chairman Alhaji Sagir at their camp in Karmajiji while presenting the award to Adokiye through the representatives of Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Initiative,  the disabled people expressed their love for the Chief Operating Officer Upstream.
“Even though he is a southerner, yet he loves and carries everyone along and shows us care and support here too”.
Sagir also used the opportunity to thank President Muhammadu Buhari and the Group Managing Director NNPC, Mallam Kolo Kyari for appointing Adokiye whom he described as a good man to such office.
“May almighty Allah, continue to guide President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Kyari, Engr. Adokiye and all the staff of NNPC,” he prayed.
 He also pleaded with the general public not to neglect them, saying that   disabled people have several needs and challenges among its members such as Food,  shelter, wheelchairs, medical care and many others.
