The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada has expressed shock over the sudden death of two noble sons of Niger State, the Chairman State Fiscal Responsibility Commission,  Alhaji Abubakar Tauhid Tayi and his counterpart, the Chairman State Special Task Force on Deforestation Alhaji Isah Lakpene.
The Minister also commiserated with the Niger State Government, Bida Emirate and indeed the entire people of the State over the great loss, and prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) would forgive their shortcomings and grant their souls eternal rest.
In a condolence message, Ambassador Dada described late Abubakar Tauhid Tayi and late Isah Lakpene as humble and respectful men of honour who have dedicated their lives to the development of Niger State and humanity in general.
Special Assistant Media Minister of State Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Aliyu in a statement said that the Minister noted that
their death came at a time when their services are much needed by the  State.
He added that the State would continue to cherish and appreciate the contributions they both made during their lifetime for the betterment of Niger State and Nigeria.
Ambassador Dada also prayed to God to grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the losses.
The statement disclosed that Alhaji Abubakar Tauhid Tayi died in Minna, while late Isah Lakpene died in Bida, adding that they both died after brief illnesses.
