Fiscal Responsibility Commission, FRC, and the Office of Auditor General for the Federation have reaffirmed their commitment to support each other in helping the federal government to fight corruption in government agencies.

This position was made known in a course of a courtesy visit by the Management of Fiscal Responsibility Commission led by its Chairman, Barrister Victor Muruako to the Auditor General for the Federation, Mr Ughu Adulphus.
Muruako who congratulated Mr Aghughu on his recent appointment by Mr President, also pleaded with the office of the Auditor-General to take cognisance of the template for the calculation of operating surplus in the course of carrying out its audit functions on Ministries, Directorates and Agencies.
He recalled that the approval of the template was officially introduced in 2016 through the Federal Treasury circular (Ref. No: TRY A10 & B10/2016) OAGF/CAD/026/V.III/101.
