The Senate has urged the Federal Government to immediately review the ECOWAS protocol of free movement as a way to checkmate the infiltration of criminal elements into the country.
“The situation is gradually slipping out of grip unless this government takes public interest position over and above preposterous sectional interest in defending criminal suspects and threatening state governments that are taking drastic security measures to defend their law-abiding citizens where the Federal Government has failed woefully”
