National Examinations Council, NECO, has informed candidates, schools, and other stakeholders of the resumption of the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, (Internal) in all states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, from Monday, November 9th, 2020.

The Council was obliged to delay the assessments indefinitely on Monday, October 25th, 2020, because of security challenges occasioned by the ENDSARS protests, which disturbed the smooth lead of the assessments in certain parts of the Country.

In a press statement delivered by the Head of Information and Public Relations Division, NECO, Mr. Azeez Sani, yesterday, said that after the arrival of regularity in the states and FCT, the assessments will presently proceed with another Time-Table from Monday 9th November to Saturday 28th November 2020.

As per the assertion, the new Time-Table will be made accessible to the public, schools, and applicants from Wednesday 4th November 2020.

It clarified the Time-Table could likewise be consistently downloaded from the NECO official site:

The Council, hence, expressed gratitude toward the public and candidates for their patience and understanding during the period the SSCE was suspended.

NECO likewise guaranteed the public of value administration in the release of her statutory responsibilities at all times.
