Federal Government has assured the Republic of South Korea of continued cooperation for the mutual benefits of both countries.
This assurance was given on Sunday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang as he hosted a sent-forth party for the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Nigeria, Lee In-Tae in Abuja.
The Presidential Aide noted that both countries have been working together on economic matters and oil alternative economy.
“So as he is leaving, some of us feel we should honor and thank him for a job well done,” Enang said.
Senator Enang also commended the Republic of Korea for sending “such a  brilliant and amiable diplomat like Lee In-Tae” to work in Nigeria.
Responding, Lee In-Tae, who is a retired General of the Korean Army, re-echoed that the Republic of Korea will continue to collaborate on areas of mutual benefits for both countries, especially in the development of the Niger Delta Region.
