His Royal Majesty Oba Dr fakayode Adesina Faluade, Olu of Ibogun Balogun, Owu Kingdom has advised Nigeria Youths to be serious and have a strong force ahead of 2023 Presidential elections if truly they want to vote bad governance out of power.
Olu of Ibogun Balogun, Owu Kingdom stated this while fielding questions with our correspondent in his Palace during his 3rd year coronation anniversary held at Ibogun Balogon.
The monarch explained that issues of #ENDSARS have clearly shown that the future of our country is not at stake, as Nigerian Youths have come out to fight for injustice, police brutality and corruption’s in our governance at the center.
Oba Faluade said, let me bring it to your notice that, if you are not aware the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced the 18th of February 2023 for the general election, which is just 2 years and four months from now.
He said if Nigerian Youth and other protesters have not woken up to their Responsibilities to Change Nigeria Once and for all for good I don’t know what they are waiting for.
It is time to galvanize from a strong united grassroots structure all across Nigeria with strong capable dedicated, trustworthy young leaders who can speak to the times, hearing the yearnings of the people and formulate comprehensive solutions to Nigeria’s perennial problems and issues in our land.
Saying that it’s high time Nigeria Youths rise up and face the reason to develop comprehensive strategies to make the changes they are demanding for. And you should not wait till the last minute like the failed attempts of Sowore, Dorotoye, and Moghalu then.
Added that, “In years to come what will you say when asked where were you when Nigerian youths were protesting against the system with #ENDSARS. What steps are you taking to be counted in making a Nigeria better again”.
“Your time is now. We are watching and anticipating the emergence of a new generation of leaders. Some can form new political movement others can congregate and take over the existing parties. It’s a numbers game, and we have the number now”.
