THE Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Katsina State chapter has joined its counterpart nationwide to press home their demand.

The Labour union matched through their head office Sabon Layin, Katsina to the State House of Assembly complex carrying different placards with an inscription to include wage theft: crime against workers, among others.
According to Katsina State Chairman of NLC, Husseini Hamisu Yanduna, they were at the State Assembly to press home their demand of inclusion of the legislative list on the minimum wage noted that removing it is an act tantamount to truncate the right of the Nigerian worker.

Responding, Speaker Katsina State Assembly, Hon. Tas’u Musa Magairi urged the union to be patient while their demands are being looked into saying the house has a duty to entertain citizen’s requests.
