Ekiti State governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has charged the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 corps members to initiate and execute projects that would make positive impacts on their host communities
Governor Fayemi, who was represented by the state Coordinator, NYSC,  Mrs M.N. Chikezie, disclosed this yesterday at the closing ceremony of the stream Orientation Course at the state’s NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ise-Orun/Emure-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The ceremony which was conducted on a low-key due to the strict adherence of Covid-19 safety protocols, as no visitor was invited. The low key ceremony witnessed a beautiful parade by the corps members.
Delivering her speech, Mrs Chikezie commended the corps members for their strict adherence to instructions, especially on COVID-19 protocols.
She urged them to carry the sensitizations on COVID-19 to their various communities bearing in mind the recent executive order of President Mohammadu Buhari on strict compliance with Covid-19 safety protocols.
The coordinator further encouraged them to perfect their Skills Acquisition & Entrepreneurship Development, SAED, training by taking part in Post-Camp training in order impact positively in the lives of people in their host communities by embarking on projects that will add value to them.
Present at the ceremony was the Camp Director, Prince Tony Anabui, the Resident Officer 1, Mrs Rachel Afolayan, the Camp Commandant, Capt Abel Agbo and other camp officials.
