Peoples Democratic Party’s frontline aspirant in the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship elections, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna has decried the level of bad governance and under development in the state in the past few years, saying that Anambra is at a crossroads.
He noted that Ndi-Anambra have witnessed the rise and fall of their  state, all within  a space of sixteen years.
Dr. Okwenna in a statement in Nnewi said,  “We can not afford to continue the free fall especially with the ravaging effect of Covid-19 and its attendant economic impact. A reset is urgently needed.
“Anambra – the way to go, is a whole package for revival, development and growth, of our State”.
He said that with his five  core objectives, and 26 Innovative plans, Anambra would be restored back to its former glory.
The former Commissioner for Environment under  Governor Peter Obi’s administration noted that his innovative and workable plan is achievable.
“I am determined to provide the leadership with strong political will to actualize it. I shall be transparent, accountable and will apply due process in all public procurements to ensure that our people get the real value for thier money.
“I shall be prudent and ensure that our government is not wasteful and flamboyant. And I shall discharge my duties diligently and honestly, providing equal opportunites for all with meritocracy as the guiding principle,” he explained.
He enjoined Ndi-Anambra to join him as he x-ray these objectives and the innovative plans to move Anambra to a greater height
