NATIONAL Chairman of SEMCCA Charity Empowerment Initiative, Dr. Theophilus Chukwuemeka Enebechi, has assured his teeming members and beneficiaries of the disbursement of the long-awaited SEM grant this December.


Enebechi, who disclosed this during an emergency meeting of SEMCCA officials and members, said that Comrade Donald Adedayo Olorukeyede, CEO of DAO Consult and the country representative of Social Exchange Market, SEM, in a telephone conversation with him, assured him of his preparedness to disburse the grant to every subscriber that paid to SEM on or before December 31, 2020.


According to him, Olorukeyede said that they were working seriously to see to the fulfillment of the project, but called for more prayers.


While calling for calmness, Enebechi recounted the long patience of about four years, the risks and huge expenditures, which the outlet’s chairmen and beneficiaries have expended and underwent for the grant to materialize over the years.


Enebechi also recalled the ugly ordeal he passed through at the hands of the police from IRT, IG’s office, which still traumatizes him, just to protect the interest of the project and beneficiaries, and advised against the strong rumors, that Olorukeyede was full of lies and deceit, but rather requested for more prayers.
