The staff of the Bayelsa State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, BYSACA have commended the Acting Director-General, Dr Mrs Oluwatoyin Azebi for her commitment, exemplary leadership and hard work in ensuring that the agency fulfils its vision of achieving zero tolerance for HIV/AIDS in Bayelsa state.
The commendation came during a five-day capacity building program held in Yenagoa,  the state capital which is part of activities to improve staff capacity to carry out their duties in the agency effectively.
Prevention Officer, Mr Abite Ezekiel noted that since Dr Azebi assumed leadership in BYSACA, there has been a lot of positive changes to facilitate HIV prevention programs and activities.
Also speaking, Mrs Precious Lambert expressed appreciation to the BYSACA boss for providing effective leadership in the coordination of community mobilization activities for HIV AIDS response.
Lead Facilitator, Dr Isaiah Mac-Moses commended the staff of BYSACA for their commitment to learning new global trends in tackling the disease.
Dr Mac-Moses urged them to use the knowledge from the training to develop new plans, programs and strategies that would help to reach out to people living with the disease in order to prevent further spread of HIV AIDS in Bayelsa state.
