PRESIDENTIAL candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Zege Mule u Tiv, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has been described as a political resourceful leader of the people and a political devotee from the North given his large heart and graceful handling of sensitive national issues.
Chief Convener of Atiku Grassroot Movement, Hon Terzungwe Atser, who addressed pressmen in Màkurdi on Sunday, ahead of the visit of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Benue, commended the presidential candidate for heartily stabilizing the political environment by conquering all the latent issues and elemental forces against all odds, which hitherto were impossible of any party after primaries.
“We in Benue state, we admire his (Atiku) charismatic and pragmatic leadership which is instinctively ingrained. We have every cause to believe that he is a generational anchor endowed with divine blessing, and that is why, at a point, we kept inviting, persuading and appealing that he should step out to serve the country in the capacity of President,” Atser said.
The Convener observed that although Nigeria as a nation is passing through a precarious situation never witnessed in her history before, and to stop the further drip of the already bad situation, people of good conscience like Atiku must not fold hands to watch while the country go into extinction.
He expressed happiness that Alhaji Atiku has risen up at the right time the ovation all over the country is loudest about him assuring that posterity will judge him positively for hearken to the call to redeem the nation.
Atser appreciated the “Zege Mule u Tiv” for his serial visits to Benue, and trusting many valued sons and daughters of the state, and already counting them worthy of working closely with him as he assumed leadership of this country come May 29th this year.
