A group known as Moro AA Unity Forum in Kwara State, has said that no amount of hang-up, conspiracy and evil machination of the enemies can stop the swearing-in of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023.

The group declared that the emergence of Tinubu as the president-elect was ordained by God.

Leader of the group and a Second Republic Majority Leader in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Chief Wole Oke said this in Oyun, Moro Local Government Area of the state during an interdenominational prayer organized to celebrate the victory of Tinubu, Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq and all other APC candidates in Kwara North at the February 25 and March 18 elections.

“Tinubu has a lot of enemies. Some are even wishing him dead. They are not the giver of life yet they are playing God. God will disappoint them as nothing will stop his inauguration come May 29th,” Oke noted.

The elder statesman said the prayers were put in place to appreciate the mightiness of God for the victory of all APC candidates at the federal and state levels, especially the candidates from Kwara North which Moro Local Government is a part of.

He noted that the re-election of Governor AbdulRazaq was predicated on his creditable performance in the about-to-expire first term administration.

Oke urged the group to be more focus and united in rallying round the governor in his second term in office.

Chairman of APC in the state, Prince Sunday Fagbemi hailed the people of Moro Local Government for voting massively for all APC candidates at the polls.

Represented by the party’s Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Isowo, Fagbemi thanked party faithful in the council for not allowing internal crisis before the elections to affect the outcome of APC at the polls.

The deputy governor, Mr Kayode Alabi was represented by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Mohammed Saifudeen at the event also attended by other dignitaries like the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Afees Abolore, Hon. AbdulMumin Katibi and Engr. Layi Ayinde, among others.
