Worried by the spate of insecurity in his domain particularly with alleged connivance of traditional rulers, the Emir of Ningi in Bauchi State, Alh Yunusa Muhammadu Dan Yaya has ordered the immediate suspension of two ward Heads over insecurity in their wards.

The Emir of Ningi while meeting with traditional rulers over the weekend blew hot, declaring that he will not hesitate to dethrone any traditional ruler implicated in connection with the issue of insecurity in the Emirate.

The Emir also gave two weeks ultimatum to District Heads in the Emirate to end the issues of insecurity in their wards that has engulfed the area militating against the peaceful atmosphere.

The Emir noted that an intelligence report at his disposal showed that some unpatriotic Ward Heads are conniving or collaborating with criminals to perpetrate criminalities in the state, warning that he will not hesitate to sack anyone found wanting.

Alhaji Danyaya noted with concern that the security report revealed that among the suspected ward heads are inviting their relatives to come to Ningi Emirate for kidnapping business.

Responding, the Caretaker Chairman of Ningi local government area, Hon Ibrahim Zubairu, said his Council in collaboration with security operatives embarked on sensitization campaigns to affected communities and enlightened them on their roles in curbing insecurity.

He assured that they would cooperate with the Emirate to tackle the issue of insecurity in the domain, warned traditional rulers who form the habit of fuelling the insecurity in Ningi Emirate to desist from such act.
