Some of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Governors, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano, Hope Uzodima of Imo, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Kaduna, Ahmed El-rufai, Plateau, Simon Lanlong of Plateau, stormed Daura, President Muhammadu Buhari hometown, for a close – door meeting.
The meeting was not unconnected with the previous day’s announcement by the party presidential candidate, Ahmed Tinubu of the choosing the former Governor of Borno State, Ibrahim Kashim Shettima.
The Governors was in Daura to pay traditional Sallah homage on President Muhammadu Buhari
Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate was yesterday in Daura for a similar visit and to also intimate the president.
