Breaking: Gov Uba Sani Rewards 1st Class Graduate, other with Prestigious Scholarships

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has in a significant gesture of recognition for academic excellence, bestowed prestigious scholarships upon two exceptional students who have made their mark in the realm of education.

Abu-Hurairah Mahadi, having graduated with a remarkable first-class degree from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, has been rewarded for his outstanding achievement, alongside him, is Nasara James Dabo who has also been recognized for her extraordinary talent.

Abu-Hurairah Mahadi, acclaimed as the best graduating student with a stellar CGPA of 4.95, has been granted a full scholarship by the Kaduna State Government to pursue his Master’s Degree in one of the world’s leading universities.

The scholarship not only acknowledges his academic prowess but also positions him for a future role as a Special Assistant in Governor Sani’s office, a testament to the state’s commitment to nurturing and harnessing exceptional talent.

Meanwhile, Nasara James Dabo, a 14-year-old prodigy who astoundingly memorized 673 Binary Digits in just 8 minutes, has been awarded a scholarship to pursue her dream of becoming a medical doctor.
“This prestigious scholarship, a pathway envisioned by Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, underscores the state’s dedication to nurturing diverse talents and supporting aspirations,” the Governor said in the statement he issued.

Governor Sani, in commending the two brilliant siblings, emphasized the importance of their achievements as a “source of inspiration for other students in Kaduna State and beyond. The governor’s commitment to promoting academic excellence through these scholarships not only acknowledges individual accomplishments but also serves as a beacon of hope for aspiring students across the region.”
