“As we gather during this holy month of Ramadan, we come together in prayer for our beloved nation, seeking healing, prosperity, peace, and security, we are reminded of the importance of compassion, empathy, unity, and oneness of purpose.

“In difficult times, and in the face of challenges, patriotic citizens rise up and unite in defense of their nations regardless of their fatih, ethnicity or political inclination. It is that unity we have come to affirm today that as Christians and Muslims we are one Nigeria, and we believe in the greatness of our Nation and the promises she holds.

“Our nation stands at a crossroads, facing numerous trials and tribulations. Yet, in the face of adversity, our faith remains unwavering. We believe in the power of prayer to bring about transformative change, to heal wounds, and to usher in a new era of prosperity and peace.

No doubt, our nation faces challenges, both old and new, but we refuse to be defined by these challenges. Instead, we choose to confront them with courage, resilience, and unwavering faith.

“Today, as we raise our voices in prayer, let us also reaffirm our commitment to building a Nigeria where every citizen can thrive, regardless of their background or abilities. Let us strive for inclusivity and equal opportunities for all, recognizing that our diversity is our strength.

“We pray for the prosperity of Nigeria, recognizing that true prosperity encompasses not just economic growth, but also social justice, inclusivity, and opportunities for all. Let our prayers be a catalyst for positive change, inspiring leaders and citizens alike to work tirelessly towards a future where every Nigerian can thrive.

“We pray for peace, for without peace, there can be no progress. We mourn the lives lost to violence and conflict, and we stand in solidarity with those who yearn for a Nigeria where their safety and security are guaranteed. May our prayers today sow the seeds of peace that will blossom into a future where every Nigerian can live without fear,” the Presidential aide stated.
