Edo APC guber candidate, running mate in strategic meeting with national women leader

In continuation of his strategic engagements with party leaders and critical stakeholders, ahead of the Edo state governorship election, the APC candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo with his running mate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, have met with the party’s National Women Leader, Mrs. Mary Alile, along with the wife of the Governorship Running Mate, Mrs. Osaretin Idahosa.

The meeting it was gathered was held to brainstorm on plans for a comprehensive and effective mobilization of the APC women in Edo State for the September 21 Governorship Election, which campaign officially begins by the end of April.

Mrs. Mary Alile emphasized the need for the strategic mobilization of all APC women across the State to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness during the campaign.

The National Women Leader stated that the enthusiasm, commitment and capacity of women in election mobilization must be properly harnessed through a deliberate and result oriented commitment of the party.

The APC governorship candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo assured Mary Alile that the party will definitely do all that is expected for women to function effectively during the campaign.

Meanwhile, Sen. Monday Okpebholo expressed his appreciation of the APC National Women Leader for her proactive and commitment to leading the cause of women in order to make them excel.

He said that they are aware of the relevance of women towards an effective campaign and that it was therefore a matter of priority to mobilize them. He promised that the women will be given whatever it will take, morally and materially, for them to be efficient and effective in the APC governorship campaign to the very day of the election.
