Ondo Guber: Jimoh Ibrahim completes consultation tours of 203 wards

Ahead of the forth coming primary election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo state on Saturday, one of the leading aspirant , Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR has demonstrated that he is the most dedicated and committed aspirant with his visitation and consultation tour to all 203 wards of the state.

His tour was accompanied with substantial empowerment to at least 37 grassroots politicians per ward after he first consulted 27 executive and 10 leaders in each local government in all 18 local governments of the state.

In his address with grassroots politicians in the local government, he said: “Our camp doesn’t have anything to be fearful of wining Saturday election, it is my turn, I will win the primary election. There is no doubt, that if you take care of party members, they will take care of you with their votes on election day and there is no gainsaying, this primary election will not be won by magic or music and dance but sweat, determination, capacity hard work and you the party loyalists.

“This 203 ward to ward consultation tour started January after I first visited 18 local governments; I have unit managers in all units of the state with data of at least 100 members with valid membership cards in each unit of the state stored in our data bank. I am very sure we are winning on Saturday.

“As the ultimate goal of APC in the state is to retain the landslide victory like that of the general election, where people of Ondo State gave Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the highest percentage of votes in the the country and voted for Senator Jimoh Ibrahim massively to win 65 wards out of 66 wards where the only one that remained was canceled in Ondo South,” Ibrahim said.

The billionaire magnate said he is the only aspirant that is not contesting to accumulate wealth but to wake up the wealth of the state and force poverty to sleep.

“God has blessed me so much with a plethora of properties that will be sufficient for me and my family to cater for ourselves for life. However, the fact is l can’t be happy in my entire life if l fail to seize this opportunity to rescue my people from the depth of extreme poverty. I must fulfil my vision and mission to serve you by tackling the challenges of my people in the state”, he added.

The Chairman of Aseyori in Ondo state, Senator Tayo Alasoadura led political giants in the state like immediate past Secretary to State government, immediate member of House of Representative, Member house of Assembly, 16 Former House of Assembly, 9 Former Commissioners and 22 former local governments Chairmen to the consultation.
