APC Campaign Train: Tinubu in Kogi pledges massive industrialization of Nigeria

ASIWAJU Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 25 election has pledged to embark on massive industrialization of Nigeria if voted into power.

The Presidential candidate who made the pledge during his campaign rally at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium on Wednesday said Ajaokuta Steel Company would be resuscitated as part of his industrial revolution.

Tinubu said that his administration would vigorously pursue Industrialisation to the level that the nation would attain fabrication and engine Building Industrial platforms in the revolution.

Tinubu also pledged to rekindle the hope of the people by ensuring completion of the River Niger dredging and transformation of Agriculture to the level of sustainable means of livelihood and prosperity and boost the economy.

“I know how to do it, I am smarter than their candidate. I am the road runner, the better candidate, the man who knows the road, the man who knows how to develop money and the man who keeps promises.

Tinubu who expressed gratitude to the people of Kogi for trooping out en-masse and waited patiently for him in the scorching sun said their sacrifice would not be in vain.

He urged them to come against all odds on the 25th of February, to vote for APC in all the elective positions from the Presidential to the Senatorial, House of Representatives saying, “It is in your hands now.”

The host governor, Yahaya Bello Speaking earlier at the rally, assured that the Presidential candidate and all other candidates contesting on the platform of the APC would be delivered 100 per cent.

“In 2019, as we are gathered here today, so we were gathered then and we welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari and we promised that we were going to deliver massively.

“This time around, the performance of APC in Kogi state will be in multiples of what we did in 2019. We are going to perform so creditably and vote APC from top to bottom”, he said.

On the Naira Swap Policy, Bello said the policy was meant to make life comfortable for the citizens of this country and Kogites, but few elements decided to thwart the good intention and make life unbearable for Nigerians through scarcity of notes.

He said that irked by the level of hardship imposed on the people, the APC governors in collaboration with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, approached the Supreme Court and “by the special grace of God, today we have been vindicated.

“And the implication is that if you have new Naira notes, if you have old Naira notes, make you dey use am kolee kolee.”

According him, when the “City Boy” becomes president with Kashim Shettima as the Vice President, the country will experience economic boom.

He stated that there would be jobks, security, abundant infrastructure, education, Federal Roads would be fixed while insecurity would be a thing of the past.

Bello described the massive turnout of the people and their indication to vote the APC as a referendum and voice vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Candidacy.
