Wike pledges incentives for tourism investors

Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike has assured attractive incentives for individuals and organizations, both local and international, who capitalize on the abundant tourism opportunities in Abuja.

Speaking during the commissioning of the Sunrise Water Park, a private recreational center in Abuja, Wike noted the untapped potential of tourist attractions such as the Yaba fishing festival, Ushafa pottery center, millennium towers, and other recreational centers in the federal capital territory.

Expressing dismay over the underutilization of Nigeria’s tourism sector, Wike stressed its capacity to attract significant foreign exchange investments. He praised the administration of President Tinubu for prioritizing tourism and urged the private sector to explore its potential.

Wike reiterated the FCT administration’s commitment to supporting investment initiatives in Abuja, promising generous incentives for those investing in the tourism sector. He described the commissioning of the largest recreational center as a testament to the vibrancy of Abuja’s tourism sector.

Stating the importance of patronizing businesses in Abuja, Wike warned against compromising standards, urging all business owners to uphold quality.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Nadeem Group , Nadia Nadeem highlights Vision for Sunrise Water Park reminisced about her father, Engr. Said Khalaf, a renowned engineer known for his innovative constructions and urban planning works in Nigeria.
