The Governorship candidate on the platform of the Accord Party in the forthcoming election in Edo State, Dr. Bright Enabulele said his coming into politics is to liberate Edo People from the many years of misrule by successive governments.

Enabulele spoke when party supporters and leaders from across the state gave him a warm reception in Benin City, the Edo State capital at the weekend.

Appreciating the warm reception accorded him by the women, youths and Accord party leadership including the Director General Director of his campaign organisation, Comrade Curtis Ugbo, Enabulele said his vision back home from the diaspora is to change the narrative of the state.

He called for unity among the people ahead of the governorship election adding that he is most prepared to liberate the people and show that governance is not business as usual.

According to him, this is the time for emancipation of all .

Enabulele added that he is inundated with the sufferings of the people and he is determined to be the man that will bring about the change in the affairs and governance of Edo State and her people.

“It is time for Edo to move forward. Anyone who doesn’t want Edo to move forward, doesn’t mean well for the people of the state. I am not here for campaign. When the time for campaign comes, we will address the issues.

“I am here and in the race to liberate Edo People, to bring about Change. Edo State needs freedom, and with me in the race, freedom starts today.” he said.
