Consequently, the incumbent senator’s agent walked out less than one hour after the commencement of the primary election process due to alleged non enabling environment

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello in an interview shortly after he was announced as the Niger North All Progressives Congress APC flag bearer for the 2022 general elections expressed happiness over the outcome and urged his opponent to be patient and take it in good faith while waiting for better days ahead.

Bello described the process as free and fair adding that Nigerlites should maintain the tempo of campaign in orderly manners and charged the security agencies to ensure law and order in the 25 LGAs devoid of thuggery and non carrying of dangerous weapons to ensure the safety of the citizens.

He expressed worries over lots of money deployed for the recent elections in the country “this elections have witnessed the deployment of a lot of resources and I am worried about this because this cannot guarantee good Leadership”

“meaning that when you have money regardless of how you got it, regardless of who you are, regardless of your integrity, and character as long as you have the money you can easily get elected, so I have my reservation on that and that is the truth” he concluded.
